Fastest/Most lightweight Windows Server variant
I'm actually looking to buy a windows server license. I however already
have 2003.
I'm going to use this to host game servers. These need generally high CPU
usage and thus, I would like to opt for the OS version that takes less cpu
usage possible.
I know Server 2003 is rather good. But I'm willing to throw some money at
a new version if it's necessary. I see there is 2008 and 2012.
If anyone could speak about their experience with these OSes? I also know
2008 comes with almost no GUI (2008/2012 Core), but still, is this faster
than 2003 64 bit, on processor demand?

P.S. Not willing to use linux. I have another box for linux uses, but some
requires windows. Thanks! I dont care too about having command line only.
