Decomposition BCNF and 3NF decomposition
Relation R is decomposed using a set of FDs, F and relation S is
decomposed using another set of FD G. One decomposition is definitely
BCNF, the author is definitely 3NF, but it is not known which is which. To
make a guaranteed identification, which one of the following tests should
be used on the decomposition? (Assume that closure of F and G are
available)
dependency preservation
natural join
BCNF definition
3NF definition
Can Any one explain me what is main diffrence between decomposition BCNF
and 3NF decomposition and this question also
